Budgie version

Budgie 10.9.2

Use-cases

When running games/other apps in fullscreen, the user is unable to utilize the functionality of the Budgie's panel. This might be a problem in a lot of cases, like, for example:

  • Check the date/time;
  • Check the various status indicators on the applet;
  • Open another running application without using alt-tab;
  • Check the notifications;
  • Open raven;
  • Quickly change a setting through an applet

Proposal

Maybe it could be addressed from the perspective of "Intelligent" option of an automatically hiding panel?
