Facilitate a smooth "restore" after a bootloader

We made it so we take a backup of the user's device before triggering bootloader mode, which is great! It definitely helps a lot.

I was thinking, as one step further, would it be possible if the user keeps the window open that when they reconnect their device we "remember" that they just went into bootloader and we ask the user if they'd like to restore the layout/settings to what it was?
