nivo slider throws error

Fresh inbstall of backdrop.. Installed nivo-slider. Foolowed the instructions and tried to add an image.
Result:
Notice: Undefined index: nivo_slider_image_style in nivo_slider_slide_configuration_form() (line 76 of /var/www/html/modules/nivo_slider/nivo_slider_slides.admin.inc).

I too am hitting this same notice. It is preventing me from adding more than one slide. I checked the apache error log and there is nothing there related to the issue. I'm guessing its a missing library issue, however the nivo slider js library is located at $MYSITE/libraries/nivo_slider. Though perhaps it was a permission issue on the libraries directory, but that does not seem to be it either.
