Assetto Corsa Settings Import not working #745
Comments
Hopefully the file is called server_cfg.ini on your server, not server_cfg.txt |
It is I had to change the name so that github would take it. |
Just for giggles I tried importing your config on a new server on Windows (cut and pasted the content). Imported 23 entries, but had to refresh the browser for them to show (and refreshing the browser is annoying since it pops you back to the main instances screen and you have to manage the instance again) Logs:
|
It's also not importing the entry list either, I tried deleting the stock entry list and putting my own in it's place through the AMP Ui and once I do it crashes anyone's game that tries to connect. |
I didn't add the import functionality to the entry list xD. AMP doesn't manage that file. |
What version of AMP are you on? Including AMP Instance Manager (type |
I am running v2.5.0.6 built 17/04/2024 22:10 |
It might need to because it does manage the cars you can use. |
I'm aware that it does, however there is no good way to do it in AMP other than have a big text box where you just paste in text. And that method wouldn't allow import anyway. |
It's just really weird that any real modifications to the entry list cause crashes. |
When you say "AMP UI", I assume you mean the File Manager? Because there is no UI setting for the entry list |
I do mean file manager (sorry tired as crap). lol I did a test run on my local machine and found an error in my entry list. After using a different entry list the crashing seems to have gone away, so crisis averted. lol Sorry if I came across a bit harsh. |
Any updates on this? It is still saying 0 lines updated and the settings shows nothing. I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I am in a controller configuration. |
Possibly. Have you updated your templates on both controller and target, and then updated the instance? |
The corsa AMP target is a fresh install so it should be good. How do I update the templates on the main controller? NVM I found it, already up to date. |
Attempting to use the import feature on assetto corsa and am getting a message that says 0 entries were successfully imported.
Attempted importing the cfg file through explorer and through the AMP web portal.
Here is a cfg file that I've been using with the credentials and server name removed.
server_cfg.txt
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
