freemidi.org doesn't provide an API, but you can just request the search page with parameters from the user and look at the links to download the midi.

  • Build backend search
  • Build frontend search box
  • getOprions() on downloaded midi
  • Flip midi
  • Show categories (video games, movies, artists, etc.) in search box. When clicked, load MIDIs from this category.
