The Delius catalogue's MerMEId-published web pages were linked to as .html URIs (e.g. navigation.html) with the url rewritten within Apache to navigation.xq*.
It'd be nice to provide code in jetty-exist-additional-config to take this on (or document how to do this). This would allow apache/nginx config to remain minimal. The list of URLs to rewrite would be short and could optionally be provided in a file.
This could also help with rationalising the directory layout for local versions of MerMEId, so that site-specific code doesn't end up living in the root.

  • I had thought that I'd got this from the original Nielsen, but these use the .xq extension in the public facing site. Perhaps it was in Sigge's instructions at some point?
