Would it be easy to add proxy support? Imgur is really limiting speeds...

Good idea! And not only for imugur or other image hosts but also for overcoming local firewalls (i.e.university, library, workplace, etc) that prevent us from connecting to Reddit in the first place!

Example of use with tunnel:

python redditdl.py cats media/ --socks5 http://localhost:88888 --score 500 --sort-type topday
