This parameter might be due to the default setting of IEEE 9-bus system, where the base capacity of the model is set at 100 MVA. Looking at it from the perspective of the transformer equivalent model, when the transmitted power exceeds the rated capacity, the equivalent impedance increases. You could modify the capacity of that transformer to 200 MVA, but double the leakage reactance to 0.125 pu, and the results are the same.

May I know if there's a specific reason why the inverters are rated for 200MVA while the transformers are rated for 100 MVA?
