Issue Description

New Vanilla user (used POP_OS for years). When I install Chrome (v.127 from a DEB or from the software store) it installs OK but when I run it I get the spinning cursor, then nothing.

Steps to Reproduce

Install Chrome
Try running it

On what version of Vanilla OS this happens?

Vanilla OS 2 Orchid

Additional Information

No response

Additional comment: If I remove Chrome completely, reboot, then reinstall it from a DEB it still doesn't run, BUT if I open a terminal and enter "google-chrome-stable" it works from the terminal. The same DEB works fine in POP_OS

Did you try rebooting after installing it?
I've heard this should fix it.
