Hello,
I'm planing to make a greengrass component which is working on Raspberry pi.
The component is a representative for a device which cannot communicate with AWS. The device supports only http to control and get its status. And I'm going to use IoT Shadow.

To make this device work with AWS IoT Device Shadow Service, is it right decision to use this library in greengrass component?
I mean I'm going to make a component which is working between the device and AWS IoT Device Shadow Service. The component works with AWS IoT Device Shadow Service and gathers data from the device and controls the device.

You can use greengrass with http so that won't be a problem.

For you second question I'm not sure what you are asking for. What exactly are you looking to do and what do you mean by "between the device and AWS IoT Device Shadow Service"? If you haven't already I recommend reading the docs here
