APK file download

Definitely (though to my knowledge, "virus" is the wrong term here and "malware" would be a much better fit). Though I'm not sure if you honestly mean it – due to the link you inserted into your comment making it look like an ad for … err, how trustworthy is that site?

As for security, let me disclose my intent: What about security? describes the measures taken at the IzzyOnDroid repository, which I was thinking to add the app to, and which the APK would be needed for.

Hi @IzzySoft; I'm not sure if we will ever have the resources to upload them here or to make releasing updated APKs on GitHub part of our CI/CD pipeline.
That said, I've submitted our latest version to ApkMirror. Since the APK hasn't been reviewed yet at the time of writing, I'll also send it here: CarikomLauncherv0.2.apk.zip

Thanks @8bitPit! But it makes only sense to add it to the IzzyOnDroid repo if it can be kept updated there. Mich makes it necessary that the updater can fetch an APK – ideally from releases here, if that's not possible from inside the repo or, last resort, a fixed URL at a server providing the LAST-MODIFIED header (to check if a newer version is available at that URL).
