Problem Statement

When users add the same content item twice on a single page in dotCMS, the content preview fails to render correctly. Instead of showing both instances of the content, no preview is displayed, leaving users unable to verify how the content will appear on the page. This issue disrupts content creators and developers who rely on the preview functionality to check content placements and layouts, especially when reusing the same content item.

Steps to Reproduce

  • Log into the dotCMS backend.
  • Navigate to a page where content can be added.
  • Add a content item to the page.
  • Add the same content item again to a different section of the same page.
  • Observe that the content preview does not render for either instance of the content.

Acceptance Criteria

  • Ensure that content preview works correctly when the same content item is added multiple times to the same page.
  • Both instances of the content should render correctly in the preview, allowing users to verify the layout and appearance.
  • Consistent functionality across all browsers and environments.
