Apparently we have support for decompressing Imagery compressed with ZSTD in ImageIO-Ext.
I would investigate further on the status, performance and documentation also in GeoServer.

We shall also estimate the possibility to implement compression as well (which would be useful when producing TIFF files from GeoServer).
