Steps for connecting to remote kernel?

I used to connect to my remote Jupyter server by selecting "Remote" in the bottom right and typing in my server URL:

In the latest release it just asks me to select a local kernel:

What am I supposed to do to select a remote kernel? Are remote kernels still supported?

Ok. I figured it out. It appears that if you mistype the URL (for example, https vs http) and then correct it the plugin doesn't refresh the remote kernels list.

After I corrected the URL, the SessionManager looks like it restarted

but the SessionManager never tries to get the list again.
