I realized this is a limit imposed by Reddit. However since it looks like the filtering will work for 100+ subreddits if not logged-in, it should be possible when logged-in. I'm testing a change to engage the app filtering even if a user is logged-in, when there is 100+ subreddits filtered. I'll submit a pull request in a couple of days if it works well.
