I was looking over the website earlier and noticed that there is no dedicated section in it dealing with propaganda material and what to look out for when creating such.

I like it when projects gather such community related material in some place and the website would be a good place for that. The OpenBSD people have an overview of past hackathons and the custom logos they create for those (see https://www.openbsd.org/hackathons.html ). They also gather artwork created for their project at (https://www.openbsd.org/orders.html) which I find nice to look at and also inspiring for new material.

I understand that @hannesm organized a couple of hackathons already and I saw a shirt created for one of them at a conference and the motive was quite beautiful and fitting. This could be a good first item to include in such a section.

In the end such a section could be provide:

  • an archive of already created images
  • instructions what to use in new images and content ( mirage logo, special font, ...)

There is now a repository at https://github.com/mirage/mirage-propaganda which could be referred to directly.
