Hi team,

I would like to suggest to add the ability to create different "Notebooks" as an way to organize notes.

For users working on several projects it would be great to have the ability to organize notes within each project's work space..

User should be able to "create a new notebook" and define it's "Notes path" root directory (within Nextcloud folder structure).

This would be similar to "Notes path" setting, where user select the folder to store it's notes" but with the added ability to

  • create several notes and, for each:
    • define a specific "notes path"
    • associate it with a meaningful name
    • quick and easy select the Notebook / Note Path from the main interface (with a drop down?)

Many thank for your great work!

Why don't you just use categories / subfolders? Sounds pretty much like what you described 🙂
