Does filter work on LineLayer/FillLayer?

Hi!

I'm a but struggling to get filters work: shapes is a featurecollection, but no matter what kind of filter i set, it just never filters the items. Happens with FillLayer too. Basically the source is a geojson, and I only want to show Linear features.. also tried to filter by properties, no luck at all. Any advice how can i just use one source of geojson and filter polygons, linestrings, points.. etc into separate layers with their own styling? this was easy with mapbox web, but i only can achive this in RN if i manually filter the geojson and create different shapesource+layer for every feature.
