Image preview not always working

Hello,

Although I've been using Linkding as my primary bookmark tool for almost 2 years, it's been a couple of months since I last updated it (I installed it via Docker, btw).

I noticed it has fantastic new options, and I particularly enjoyed the "image preview".

But the thing is it doesn't seem to be working very well for me. I mean, it works nicely in some urls, but not on others. On IMDB, for example, it only shows the generic IMDB logo. Reddit urls don't show anything... no matter if it's a profile or a subreddit link. On the other hand, links for some Aliexpress dealings for example work perfectly, showing the image of the product as an image preview.

Am I missing something? Maybe some further configuration I'm supposed to do? I read the README but saw no indication...

The logic for detecting a "preview" image is pretty simple right now in that it just uses OpenGraph metadata that a page might or might not have. I'm not sure how much more complex I want this to be, but it can't hurt to collect cases where it doesn't work.

Sure. Thanks for taking the time to look into this.

Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or Reddit profiles bookmarked. Neither of these show any image preview.

YouTube, on the other hand, is an example of url whose previews work perfectly.

Some other sites just show a sort of default image.
