Describe the bug

I was running through the tutorial when I hit the bindings/refs segment:

https://www.solidjs.com/tutorial/bindings_refs?solved

Nothing happened. I can see the onMount and loop functions being called (logs demonstrated that), but the putImageData is a no-op (which definitely doesn't make sense).

I tried this in both Chromium Edge and Firefox.

I'm on a Windows machine.

Steps to Reproduce the Bug or Issue

  1. Navigate to https://www.solidjs.com/tutorial/bindings_refs?solved
  2. Click "Solve"
  3. Observe Nothing.

Expected behavior

I expected to see something (anything really) rendered to the canvas. I haven't read the code carefully enough to know what I should be seeing.

To be fair, I still learned how refs worked (as expected), but I imagine it could be troublesome for a newer dev.

Similar issue here with Chrome Version 109.0.5414.75 (Official Build) (64-bit) :
When adding a console.log() at top of function loop() or onMount(() => { ... }), nothing appears in console.
Only adding a console.log() at top of App() makes it appear in console.

Bindings/Forwardings refs page demo is also broken.
