About Your Setup

  • How many devices are detected?:
  • Mobile App Version(Not required):
  • SmartApp Version: 2.3.3
  • Device Handler Version: 2.3.8
  • Homebridge Version: 1.3.0
  • NodeJS Version:

Expected Behavior

I've got an Alarm.com thermostat that attached to SmartThings, and is not being detected as a thermostat in the SmartApp but it is showing up under all other devices, and it also shows up in the Home app as a thermostat.

Current Behavior

Thermostat is detected as another sensor and not as a thermostat.

Context

I'm not sure if the device not being detected as a thermostat reduces any functionality, as it's only not detected as a thermostat in the SmartApp.

having the same issue with a a Honeywell thermostat. it worked before as a thermostat, now I don't have the option (new smartthings app) to select a thermostat as a device. all the other devices show up and work properly.
