In Edit > Layer Default > Track Waypoint > Tracks
some of the items shown here also act on routes, e.g.,

Track drawing mode (in fact only "All tracks same color")

Some don't, e.g.,

Draw labels

So, even if this is explained in the manual, it also needs to be clear in the dialog,

Also consider calling it
Edit > Layer Default > Track Waypoint > Tracks & Routes
