Hey @zlangbert,

I wrote the Daikin Skyport integration and it looks like you're working on basically the same thing. I came across yours while going in to add icons for it. Might be better to combine our efforts into a single integration. I'm in the process of making major updates (check out my ui_config branch in a day or two after I commit). I'm at https://github.com/apetrycki/daikinskyport

Hi @apetrycki, thanks for reaching out! Definitely open to discussing that, did you have anything in particular in mind?

Hello, I'm wondering if this conversation has happened, I am looking to install a Daikin integration, and @apetrycki and this integration seem to be the main most actively maintained options. So I would like to install the one where the combined efforts will go into for long term support. Any thoughts on that?

Sorry, I actually completely forgot about this while I had to revamp my integration for all the latest changes in HA.

@zlangbert have you had a chance to look at my integration? I couldn't get yours to run since my system wasn't supported, at least at the time. I'd like to start by getting a "diff" of features between our integrations and see what makes sense. I remember you had a couple features that sounded interesting to me. One was being able to capture API logs. Mine seems to be fully functional for a lot of people, so maybe it makes sense to pull your additional features into mine? I'm pretty much a novice with GitHub, but I assume I could give you full rights to my integration so if I get hit by a bus you could continue the project.
