  • The recent MOM_io modifications in support of FMS2_io accidentally removed support for reading on-grid data (same horizontal grid as model) k-slices. This is needed in some configurations in the model state initialization.

@MJHarrison-GFDL We can just handle this in #399 yes? I've run it through the CI.
