Welcome to the textile wiki!

The Textile text filter module for Backdrop CMS allows the use of Textile markup in pages and posts. It can be used in two modes: either the entire text area will be processed by Textile, or you can use the tags [textile] and [/textile] to indicate sections of the text which should be processed by Textile, leaving the rest untouched.

As the following pages show, Textile markup can be very simple but can accommodate very complex use cases. In general, a CMS user is unlikely to need the more complex coding but they are included here for completeness.
