clib

clib is a command line interface for Interactive Brokers backed by IbPy

Notice: This an pre-alpha-quality software at the moment. Do NOT use in production!!

Installation

  $ python setup.py install

The IB API connects through Trader Workstation (TWS) or the IB Gateway, so you will need to download and install one of them. It needs to be running and connected to use clib.

Options

  • --host defaults to 'localhost'
  • --port defaults to 7496
  • --client client id defaults to 0
  • --verbose defaults to 0

Usage

Buy 500 AAPL at market:

clib buy 500 AAPL

Sell 500 AAPL at market:

clib sell 500 AAPL
