v1.0.0 (nicar23 version)

This is the version of the repo that we presented at NICAR 2023, which is how you probably found this repo. We'll be updating the repo with some resources and cleaning things up a bit, but before we do that, here's what we taught!

It can be loaded and run on your machine assuming you have PostgreSQL installed, with two databases created: mi_precincts (to run the case-study script) and demo (to run the demo scripts).

Caveat: it might not work. (Which is why we're going to roll this back to a pre-nicar version, which wasn't modified to fit the Mac lab specs, and can be rerun on the command line without any issues!)
