Electronics are organized in 'groups' of 15/16 cameras. Each group is essentially independent and includes

• Cameras: 5MP Security cameras (Lorex E581CB-E)
• NVR/Switch: 16 port POE switch/recorder (Lorex N861D63B)
• Pi compute & storage device (see below for more details)
• Any needed cabling
  • Power cables
    • into group
    • to NVR
    • to Pi
  • Network cables
    • into group (NVR) to each camera (included with Lorex cameras)
    • to Pi (plugged into camera port)

Pi

• Raspberry Pi 4 (4 GB RAM although a smaller version may work)
• Hard drive (USB3 as large as possible)
• Edge TPU (plugged into a USB2 port to avoid USB3 bug)
• >4 GB SD card (setup with raspbian buster)
• Power supply (official pi4 supply or equivalent)
• Pi4 heat sink (something substantial)
