This page documents the backwards-incompatible changes in Cabal 3.0 affecting the authors of packages that use custom Setup scripts and other Cabal API consumers. See also the Cabal 2.2 migration guide page.

  • A number of previously deprecated functions have been removed (#6022). Please use the suggested alternatives instead (see the diff in that PR).
