Welcome to Rubies Jewels, a Django-based project for a jewelry shopping startup. This repository contains the source code for the Rubies Jewels website, allowing customers to browse and purchase a variety of jewelry items.

Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/mogomaa79/rubies_jewels.git cd rubies_jewels -
Create and activate a virtual environment (optional but recommended):
python3 -m venv venv source venv/bin/activate # On Windows use `venv\Scripts\activate`

Install the required packages:
pip install -r requirements.txt

Set up the database:
python manage.py migrate

Create a superuser:
python manage.py createsuperuser

Run the development server:
python manage.py runserver

Open your browser and go to
http://127.0.0.1:8000to see the website.
- To access the admin panel, go to
http://127.0.0.1:8000/adminand log in with your superuser credentials. - Add new products, manage orders, and customize the website content through the admin panel.
