There are ideas I have every so often that don't have any immediate impact that I'd like to explore. Here are a couple:

-Low-solder sensors for wearable electronics. This would be useful for evaluating sensors if you're not skilled in soldering/electronics or programming but still want to evaluate a sensor for a project you're exploring. It's also handy to demonstrate the limitations of the sensors or as an educational tool.

-Smart scale for shipping goods that pulls in current pricing data from USPS, DHL, FedEx, & UPS through their APIs. You place whatever you're shipping on the scale, then it is measured from several sensors to tell you dimensions and weight. Based on that it will calculate the appropriate dim weight and price it out for several carriers. This smart scale would only assume packages that are a rectangular prism.

I am currently exploring the first one.
