Why MewsFeed?

Many of the challenges associated with the current social media landscape can be directly traced to the technical architecture of Web 2 platforms more generally. In order to address these challenges, we believe it is necessary to change that underlying architecture. In the case of MewsFeed, we do this by building with Holochain (a framework for building distributed apps) and hosting on Holo (a marketplace for Holochain-based apps).

But beyond addressing existing challenges, we believe building on Holochain makes it possible to build features that more traditional applications would struggle implementing. Take a look at our planned features to learn more.
